Welcome to DreamCities.net – Where Dreams Become Reality!

Our community is one of a kind, in that it is unique and friendly towards all types of people. We have so much to do on this server and so much to see that no matter what type of activity you like to do on a server, we undoubtedly have it here for you.

Not only is our server and in-game so different, but as you can notice, we have spent a tremendous amount of effort on our community website side of things, which we feel is so important in bringing a community together and providing all information that we can.

In-game we have 6 worlds and counting, with all types of interests and plugins enabled for different worlds. You can view information on all our worlds over at our worlds page.

By far the most active living community is our Towny world, where we use the famous Towny plugin to enable users to create ‘Towns’ which have Mayors as leaders and residents can purchase plots and live within a protected town. Not only that, but numerous towns can form a Nation, with one King as its ruler. This eventually leads to nations having alliances and enemies and then WAR. What a good way to also put your mcMMO skills and abilities to use.

Our website community has Forums for you to share your interests, ideas & projects, requests and much much more. So be sure to take advantage of this useful tool. Not to mention our Auction House is web based, Live and Global. This creates an intense market to sell your items and crafted materials. Feel free to create a FREE Blog to write about yourself or your services within our server. Or use it for anything personal if you wish, something else we offer our members!

  • Mounted Travel (3)

    DragonTavelMounted Travel is coming to DreamCities.net. Users will be able to mount onto an Ender Dragon, and physically fly to preset waypoints, flight paths and even to coordinates, others players and homes.

    Some of these features will be available to Members Only, whilst others for Free. We will let you know when this feature is available and working as intended!

    Upcoming Updates

    During our next server downtime, we will be adding the following features to our server:

    Insurance

    Tired of losing all your inventory upon death and/or having it stolen in PvP? You will be able to have all your items insured on every death for a set amount of Gold.

    Each time you die however, the insurance premium will go up by a multiplier and cost you more each time (to a maximum premium of course). This will also save you when you AFK in places such as HUB and find yourself drowned or dead of starvation.

    Arena World

    As our Arena world is currently under construction by Dongo_Duff, I thought I would give you a quick sneak peak of what types of games will be available in there:

    • Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination
    • Hunger Games
    • Quarantine (Zombie killing goodness with rewards)
    Mounted Travel

    Coming next update will be for ‘Member’ subscribed players to be able to use Mounted Travel to travel from one destination to another (on an EnderDragon!). You will pay per travel using coins and will be sent flying (with special music!) through the world to your destination.

    Destinations include preset ones such as Town to Town in Towny World, or to a specific player using a command and so forth.

    It looks exactly like in World of Warcraft. You will all be amazed and look in jealousy at those flying around on a dragon!

    New End

    Every server restart, The_End worlds will be regenerated and a new dragon respawn.

    Ram Upgraded

    Our system ram has been updated. Our server is now running on 4gig of ram currently with 2 gig to spare for the web hosting side of things. Crashes and hangs of the server should now steady and be minimal.
